About UsLet us introduce ourselves. We are Gary and Lynn Brashar, or better known as Grandpa and Grandma

We live outside of Trinidad, Colorado. The cabin is where we lived when we first moved here. We built it from our own native trees with a chain saw and an axe, hauled our own water, raised goats and other livestock; we lived without electricity for almost 2 years, and we raised 7 children on top of our mountain.
All but one of our children are grown, the last is graduating this year. We have 8 wonderful grandchildren.
Grandpa is cantankerous, he loves his kids, his grandkids and his wife.
Grandma is a special education teacher by day and a frustrated quilter by night. She also loves her kids and grandkids and adores her husband.
The other part of Grandma's and Grandpa's is our four Dachshunds: Pogo, Cricket, Gordo and Nolan.
From time to time we will add pictures of our children, grandchildren and Dachshunds to share.
